U.S. World Vitiligo Day

The Global Vitiligo Foundation is happy to be a part of the U.S. World Vitiligo Day (WVD) celebration.

June 25th is a day of celebration of our lives and our community. The first World Vitiligo Day was held in 2011 and has since become an annual, global event. Over the years, its purpose has broadened from raising awareness of vitiligo to include recognition of the bullying, social neglect, psychological trauma and disability of millions of people affected by vitiligo.” (25june.org/en/pages/about)

The United States celebration of WVD started a few years ago with a celebration in 2017 in Washington, D.C.  We look forward to working with vitiligans to help make the U.S. WVD celebration a wonderful, informative time for all involved.
